There are no known specific Guinean product requirements or standards; however, specific international product requirements or standards may be requested when tenders are issued. French, U.S., U.K., or other standards/product requirements may be requested by importers.

Special requirements must be met by imports of live animals, skins, plants and plant products, and pharmaceuticals.
There are no special requirements on the marking and labeling of retail packages. Products of non-French origin must not be marked or labeled to give the impression they were made in France or in any country other than their country of origin.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture will review processed food product labels and ingredients to determine if they meet Guinean requirements.
